In addition, commercial content on Facebook and Messenger, as well as on Instagram, must comply with the Facebook Community Standards and Instagram Community Guidelines, respectively. Commercial content on WhatsApp must comply with the WhatsApp Commerce Policy. Buyers, sellers, and merchants are also responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Failure to comply with our policies or the law may result in various consequences, including, but not limited to, the rejection or removal of listings and other content, the rejection or removal of product tags, or the suspension or cancellation of access to any or all commercial services or features of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, or Messenger. If you repeatedly post commercial content that violates our policies, we may take additional actions against your account.

Steps to Take if Your Ad is Rejected

Dispute the Decision If your commercial content has been rejected or removed for violating our Commerce Policies and you believe this is an error, you may request a review by following these steps for Marketplace, or these steps for products in your Catalog (available on Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, and WhatsApp Business).

• Third-party infringement

• Tobacco products and related paraphernalia

• Used cosmetics  

• Vehicle parts and accessories

• Weapons, ammunition, and explosives
